Profile Settings

Your profile stores your personal information, timezone preference, and account avatar. You can update these details at any time from the Settings page.


Accessing Profile Settings

  • Web: Go to Dashboard → Settings – your profile card is at the top of the page
  • Mobile: Tap the Settings tab (or profile icon) in the bottom navigation

Editing Your Profile

Tap or click Edit Profile to enter edit mode. The following fields become editable:

Full NameHow your name appears to recipients, Guardians, and in delivery notifications
Phone NumberOptional. Stored for your reference only – not used for message delivery
TimezoneYour default timezone for scheduling message delivery dates

The Email Address field is displayed but is immutable – it cannot be changed after your account is created. If you need to update your email, contact MessageFuture support.

After making your changes, tap Save Changes to apply them. Your updated name syncs immediately across the dashboard header and all active sessions.


Updating Your Timezone

Your timezone controls how delivery dates and times are displayed throughout the dashboard. It is also the default timezone pre-filled when you open the message composer.

To change your timezone:

  1. Tap Edit Profile
  2. Click the Timezone dropdown
  3. Search or scroll through the full list of world timezones
  4. Select your timezone
  5. Tap Save Changes

Your new timezone takes effect immediately and is applied to all future message scheduling sessions.

Per-message override: The timezone you set here is a default only. You can change the timezone for any individual message directly in the composer without affecting your saved preference.


Uploading a Profile Avatar

Your avatar is displayed in the dashboard header, on your profile card, and in Guardian notification emails.

To upload a new avatar:

  1. Hover over (web) or tap your current avatar image on the profile card
  2. A camera icon appears – click or tap it
  3. Select an image file from your device (any common image format)
  4. The image uploads immediately – a spinner is shown while uploading
  5. Your new avatar appears in the header and profile card as soon as the upload completes

Avatars are stored in your account’s cloud storage. There is no restriction on how many times you can change your avatar.


Your Current Plan

Your profile card displays a Current Plan badge (Free, Standard, Pro, or Pro Max). Clicking or tapping this badge takes you directly to the Credits & Plans section where you can upgrade your plan or top up your credits.
