In-App Purchases – Mobile (iOS & Android)
On the MessageFuture mobile app, you can purchase credit packs and subscription plans directly through the platform’s native in-app purchase (IAP) system – Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android. This article explains how mobile purchases work, how they differ from web purchases, and how your credits are credited to your account.
What You Can Buy In-App
| Item | iOS (App Store) | Android (Google Play) |
|---|---|---|
| Credit packs (50, 200, 1,000) | ✅ | ✅ |
| Standard subscription | ✅ | ✅ |
| Pro subscription | ✅ | ✅ |

Both monthly and yearly billing cycles are available for all subscription plans.
How to Purchase on Mobile
- Open the MessageFuture app on your iOS or Android device
- Go to the Settings tab → Credits & Plan
- Tap the credit pack or plan you want to purchase
- The platform’s native purchase sheet appears (Apple or Google)
- Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, your Apple ID, or Google account as prompted
- The purchase is processed by the App Store or Play Store
- Your credits are added to your MessageFuture balance immediately after the transaction is verified
Receipt Verification
Mobile purchases follow a server-side receipt verification process:
- The app store completes the transaction and provides a purchase receipt
- The MessageFuture app sends this receipt to the MessageFuture backend
- The backend verifies the receipt with Apple or Google servers
- Once verified, the corresponding credits are added to your account
This process typically completes in under 5 seconds. If there is a delay, close and reopen the Credits page – your balance will refresh once verification completes.
Pricing on Mobile
App Store and Play Store prices may differ slightly from web prices due to platform fees and regional pricing applied by Apple and Google. The prices shown in the app are the final prices you pay – there are no additional charges from MessageFuture.
Managing Subscriptions on Mobile
Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Play Store are managed through those platforms’ native subscription management screens – not through the Stripe Customer Portal used on the web.
iOS – Managing your subscription
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find MessageFuture and tap it to change or cancel
Android – Managing your subscription
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon (top right)
- Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Find MessageFuture and tap Manage
Cross-Platform Credit Balance
Your credit balance is shared across all platforms. Credits purchased via the App Store or Play Store are immediately visible on the web dashboard, and vice versa. You can purchase credits on mobile and use them when composing on the web.
Refunds for Mobile Purchases
Refund requests for purchases made through the App Store or Play Store must be submitted to Apple or Google directly – MessageFuture cannot process refunds for platform purchases.
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Open Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history → View transactions, then tap the transaction and request a refund
