Sharing a Twin
You can share any of your AI Twins with contacts from your address book. Sharing allows another person to chat with your Twin – either as a recipient (chat access only) or as a guardian (with additional sharing privileges).

Who You Can Share With
You can share a Twin with any contact in your MessageFuture address book. The contact does not need to have a MessageFuture account at the time you share – but they will need to create one (or sign in) to accept the invite and access the Twin.
Access Types
When you share a Twin, you choose one of two access types:
Recipient Access
The contact can chat with the Twin. That’s it. They cannot share it with anyone else.
Use this for: family members, friends, or anyone you want to give the gift of a conversation with the Twin.
Guardian Access
The contact can chat with the Twin and, optionally, share the Twin with others on your behalf.
Guardian access has two additional toggles:

Use Guardian access for: a trusted family member or estate manager who you want to be responsible for sharing the Twin more broadly after you are gone.
How to Share a Twin
- Go to Dashboard → Twins and open the Twin you want to share
- Tap Share Twin
- Select a contact from your address book
- Choose the access type: Recipient or Guardian
- If Guardian, toggle Can Chat and Can Share as appropriate
- Tap Send Invite
The contact receives a Twin invite notification – both in-app (notification bell) and by email.
The Invite Flow
What the invitee receives
The contact gets an email and an in-app notification telling them that you have shared a Twin with them and inviting them to accept or decline.
Accepting an invite
The contact opens the notification and taps Accept. The Twin immediately appears in their Twins list and they can start chatting.
Declining an invite
The contact taps Decline. The invite is dismissed and they will not have access to the Twin. You are not notified when someone declines.
Managing Who Has Access
To see everyone you have shared a Twin with:
- Open the Twin’s profile page
- Tap Manage Access (or View Shares)
- A list of all current access grants is shown, including:
- Contact name and email
- Access type (Recipient or Guardian)
- Invite status (Pending / Active)
- Date the invite was sent
Revoking Access
To remove someone’s access to a Twin:
- Open Manage Access on the Twin’s profile
- Find the person whose access you want to remove
- Tap Revoke
The person’s access is removed immediately. They can no longer chat with the Twin, and it disappears from their Twins list. They are not notified that their access has been revoked.
