What is MessageFuture?
MessageFuture is a platform that helps you preserve love and emotional support for the future.
It lets you compose heartfelt messages today and deliver them to the people you love at exactly the right moment, whether that moment is a birthday five years from now, a milestone you may not be there to celebrate, or whenever you or a trusted person you’ve added to that message decides the time has come to deliver it.
You can also create Future Me Messages, capturing your thoughts, emotions, advice, or memories today and having them delivered to your future self.
MessageFuture also offers AI Twins, allowing you to preserve more than just individual messages. Your AI Twin is shaped by how you think, speak, and respond, giving the people you love a way to interact with a conversational version of you in the future.
The Core Idea
Most messaging apps are built for right now. MessageFuture is built for later, and for the moments that matter most.
You write a message once. You choose who receives it, when it arrives, and what it contains: text, photos, audio, or video. Then you set it free. MessageFuture holds it safely, encrypted at rest, until the delivery moment you chose.
Two Ways to Deliver a Message
MessageFuture supports two distinct delivery modes, and understanding them is the foundation of everything else on the platform.
1. Scheduled Delivery
You pick a specific date and time. Your message is delivered automatically to your recipient’s inbox on that date, by email, push notification, or both.
Best for: Birthday messages, anniversary notes, graduation surprises, time-capsule letters, or anything with a known future date.
- Free plan: schedule up to 5 years ahead
- Paid plans: schedule up to 30 years ahead
2. Timeless Delivery
You don’t set a delivery date when you create the message. It waits until someone decides the moment has arrived.
You can be that someone. At any point you can open the message and give it a delivery date and time, and it will be delivered then. A father who recorded a message for his daughter when she was six can set it to arrive on her wedding day, fifteen years later, and be there when she opens it.
You can also assign one or more Guardians, trusted people who can set that date if you are not there to do it yourself. Guardians are optional. Without one, you remain the only person who can release the message.
Our Timeless Messages are securely stored with long-term delivery in mind. Currently, timeless messages can be stored for up to 20 years, with upcoming paid storage extension options.
Best for: a moment you know is coming but cannot put a date on, such as a wedding, a graduation, or a first child, and for messages meant to reach someone if you are no longer able to send them yourself.
Messages to Your Future Self
You can also address a message to yourself. When you do, MessageFuture recognises it as a Future Me message and you are both the sender and the recipient. Everything else works the same way, so you can write to yourself before a big change, a next chapter, or simply a year from now, and open it when it arrives.

- Ability for users to add a voice clone to their AI Twins, allowing loved ones to have voice conversations with them instead of only chatting via text.
- Animated Avatar for AI Twins
- Ability to add an animated avatar that looks like you to your AI Twin. When loved ones interact with the Twin, they can see a familiar visual representation of you while having the conversation, creating a more personal and emotionally engaging experience.
- Publicly Shareable Links
- Links that let a message be viewed publicly, when the sender has granted permission for public sharing.
- Content Library for AI Twins
- Allows people to anticipate future situations their loved ones may experience and prepare personalized video, audio, or text content in advance. When someone talks to their AI Twin about a relevant situation, the Twin can surface the appropriate pre-recorded content at the right moment, providing more personal and immediate emotional support.
- Going through a breakup: A daughter talks to her hospitalized father’s AI Twin while he is unable to communicate. The Twin recognizes what she is going through and surfaces a video her father recorded years earlier specifically for a moment like this.
- Living in different time zones: A child needs support late at night while their parent is asleep in another country. The AI Twin can provide immediate support and surface a relevant voice note, video, or message the parent prepared in advance.

What You Can Send
MessageFuture messages can include:

You can mix and match. A single message can contain text and an audio recording and a photo.
AI Twins
Beyond scheduled messages, MessageFuture lets you build an AI Twin, an AI representation of yourself or a loved one that others can have a real conversation with, even long after you’re gone.
A Twin is built from your own words: the phrases you use, the values you hold, the advice you give. It is not a generic chatbot. It is a carefully crafted digital presence that speaks in a way that feels authentically like you.
What it costs: Creating a Twin is included in your plan. Chatting with one costs 1 credit per text message, charged to whoever is doing the chatting. That includes someone you have shared a Twin with, so a family member using their own account spends their own credits.
Important: AI Twins are AI-generated representations, not real people. A Twin will always disclose that it is an AI if sincerely asked.
The Guardian System
A Guardian is a trusted person you appoint to help manage your messages. Guardians can:
- Trigger the delivery of a Timeless message when the time comes
- Update recipient lists or delivery dates (if you grant those permissions)
- Be notified any time a major change is made to a message they’re protecting
You decide exactly what each Guardian can and cannot do.
